A destination as sweet as it sounds: Frontiere at Rogers Lake. The intimate setting made up of rustic lodging, adorable barns and stables, amidst a small body of meandering water all nestled into a vast open forest. The pine trees cozied up the ceremony site and the indoor barn made for the perfect reception.
As truly as two individuals can be in love: that is how I describe Sophie and John. Flagstaff residents, Sophie and John both come from large families. Their love for others, especially each other, is quite evident upon meeting them. Their down-to-earth attitudes and kindness can be felt throughout any task, photo, or event asked of them. They are genuinely kind and loving.
Upon walking down the aisle, she glowed. A natural rim of light touched her shoulders and surrounded her hair, almost angelic looking. The intricate floral design on her perfectly white, long-sleeve gown had every eye on her. While John waited at the altar, you could see it: here came the woman of his dreams.
Sophie and John shared an incredibly sweet, Christ-centered ceremony, where they wrote individual vows to one another and read them aloud to a rapt audience. Each family member played an important role, particularly Sophie and John’s parents who coordinated, performed the marriage ceremony, cooked all of the food, and prayed over the couple. As the only outside vendor, itt was absolutely heartwarming to be involved in the photography aspect of their big day.
Sophie and John, you two have so much life ahead of you and I am so happy to once again congratulate y’all on your recent wedding. I’m praying for a long, fulfilling marriage over y’all and look forward to seeing many more of your milestones in life. Congrats, S + J!
