“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I love this!”, was pretty much all I could say while photographing at the new wedding venue in Surprise, Arizona. This West Valley stronghold has been long awaited for this part of town, as explained to me by the founding family of this space. The Willow offers gorgeous desert views, paired with two ceremony spaces, and an amazing event coordinating team to help indict people into The Willow family.
The land surrounding this venue is astute, colorful (for the desert, that is), and has mountains to boast of on multiple sides. It’s also protected land so there won’t be any unexpected builds blocking your wedding guests from the raw beauty in this location, or crashing your party with family and friends. Also included in these views for days are dreamy backdrops for husband and wife portraits at sunset. And cue so. much. versatility. The looks of this place range from rustic to clean and modern.
If you’ve been a photographer for more than a minute, then you’ll have an undying appreciation for the spacious, *white* walled bridal suite. I mean, hooks on the walls to hang dresses, flowers, gowns, etc. is completely well thought out and useful! Both the bridal suite and groom’s suite are air conditioned and have access to private bathrooms as well as an outdoor space, which isn’t always the case for both parties.
The hosts of this shoot did a great job in their vendor line up, including two single female models, one in an engagement look and one in a bridal gown, as well as a flat lay station, table/twinkle lights, a *surprise* engagement with one of two couples, and a married couple in bridal wear. Several looks were achieved during this shoot, and it was all around successful! A big shoutout to the models who wore satin and other long gowns, as well as the men who saddled up in full suits! Us photographers can’t thank y’all enough.
To the vendors: Thank you for being creatives at heart and putting forth your time and energy into this shoot. I hope you enjoy your images!
