I first met Ashlye as a Pediatric Nurse at our local pediatrics hospital. At the time, she was assigned as one of their Hematology/Oncology RNs and I was in the Float Pool but essentially living on the oncology floor for back-to-back shifts. Ashlye is one of those people and nurses who helps in any situation, drops everything she is doing, and is able to be there for others. She is not only a strong nurse but a strong woman and mother!

Following Ashlye’s Mommy & Me Minis with me, she asked me to take Rory’s One Year Old Cake Smash photos on the spot. I knew I wanted to serve her in this way and was thrilled to be asked at her first session with me to repeat business! It honestly meant so much to me!

Then, in the interim, Ashlye and Warren got engaged and booked me for as their Wedding Photographer as well. Needless to say, I get to spend a lot of time with Ashlye and Warren this year and next and I am thrilled! Rory turning one was such a delightful cake smash. While her dad was hoping for more of a “Hulk Smash”, Rory had other ideas. It took some coaxing but she finally warmed up to the idea of cake…and what a beautiful cake it was!

The entire family, including older sister, Lorelei looked just stunning on camera. It was such a pleasure to capture this milestone for their family, and I look forward to many more!
