It’s here again, just like it is every year one time: my favorite person’s birthday. Jordan, you turn 32 today and I am so proud to know you, love you, and be your wifey! You just make life more fun, calmer, and a whole lot steadier. While my emotions are typically bouncing all over the place, you keep things smooth sailing, (like, really smooth). I love doing life with you every single day – the good days, the hard days, the bad days, and the mundane.

You are easily the tallest man in the room, as well as the sweetest, and the kindest. The way you care about other people is inspiring and encouraging! I love watching you love and encourage others, the way you do day in and day out so well. Seeing you be not only an amazing husband but also an amazing dad to our two girls is beyond precious to me. When you get home, you fill the home with security and warmth. The girls are so excited to see you, they rush (run and crawl) as fast as they can to you! Their smiles get a mile wide the moment they hear your keys jingle in the door and they don’t stop smiling all the way up to bedtime.

This has been a crazy year for us, as it has been for all, but I am so thankful to have had you the past 5 years in my life. Simply put, you make my (our) life better. I love being with you, spending as much time with you as possible, and waking up next to you every day. Thank you for choosing me as your wife and then continuing to choose and love me well every single day since then. It reasons to stand that my favorite thing about you before we got married is still my favorite thing about you to this day. Prior to getting married, we were asked to identify a few things about each other we loved to prep our pastor on our wedding day. What still sticks out to me is on that day I said my favorite thing about you is how you love me well. That stands true through now – you are the best at loving me for me and I love that about you the most.

Now I get to compound my favorite thing about you with more little ones in our lives and how well you love our girls. Like fine wine, you get better and better with age. I am so excited to continue doing life with you. I hope you feel so loved, celebrated, and honored today on your birthday. I hope you feel more loved now than you ever could have imagined and know your wifey and girls think the world of you!
