There was a crispness in the air as one of my seniors echoed, “burrr, it’s a tad chilly up here!” She was right, as we were standing atop a parking garage for our first Senior Spokesmodel session in downtown Phoenix. The girls, huddled in the corner of the parking lot joined me on the edge where the sun perfectly met the skyline behind them. In downtown Phoenix, the skyline isn’t known for being very tall or having several large buildings. However, we do have an urban scene and surrounding suburban areas.

Also up on the roof was another photographer with a model creating some beautiful images as well as a larger group towards the end of the garage filming, photographing, and breakdancing surrounded by (for lack of a better term) multiple fancy cars. The girls, unswayed by their surroundings, brought the smiles, giggles, and soft-serious looks that gave their galleries so much variety!

Walking on command, smiling, remembering how to move your arms, and following other common photography directions isn’t easy, but I dare say these girls made it seem like they do this every. day. Between the jeans with solid tops and the prom dresses adorned second, I couldn’t be happier with how well the seniors represented at their first official spokesmodel session.

Three girls were chosen to represent the face and brand of Alexandra Joy Photography as my first year launching the AJ Senior Spokesmodel experience. At first in a coffee shop, from there to a private hair and makeup studio, followed by a quick carpool to our first shooting location, the girls got a taste of the full Senior experience, and *totally* rocked it! I already know the second and third spokesmodel sessions are going to be even more of a blast and even easier to create absolute magic on camera.

While there are so many perks of being on my spokesmodel team, one of my personal favorites is the deep friendships and connections these girls get to form. They come from different schools, backgrounds, and interests, but the experience they share as spokesmodels is enough to bond them. The other perks within the experience include three to four scheduled spokesmodel sessions throughout your senior year, professional hair and makeup services, lifelong friendships, multiple outfits and themes to add gallery variety, gifts, style guides, detailed timelines, and your personalized senior session experience with me.

Being the face of a brand and adding value is taken with utmost seriousness and I am so excited and honored these girls have chosen to partner with me! They add so much value to my brand already, and I cannot wait to continue shooting with them! Below is a glimpse at our first Senior Spokesmodel experience…much more to come!
