If you haven’t already heard of the small business, Nollie Bean, run to your computer and look up this cute biz on social media now! Nollie Bean, a name crafted from Jenni’s two loves – her son Nolan, and dog Vanilla Bean, is a quilting and patterns business that sells patterns in order to make quilts with the instructions and the fabrics needed to follow along as you create your own quilt.

With quilts and patterns laid out over the floor, the walls danced with the different colors and patterns. From the beginning stages with the bundle and the instruction pattern to what Jenni created in quilt form was magical to behold. I learned so much about the different equipment and necessary pieces to create these quilts and had so much fun with Jenni teaching me about how she divides her time among her quilt activities to create the patterns and what the creative process looks like.

In order to maximize our best time together creating Nollie Bean’s identity as a brand, we spent a lot of the timeline really moving around the space and focusing on creating different looks. From set ups, to accessories, to office spaces, to Jenni being involved in the images, and even taping quilts on the wall, there was so much that went into this small business branding session. Our time was monopolized with a 90’s hits playlist and way too much laughter, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. While there, Jenni was already speaking about her “annual” branding session and her words mean so much to me! She was ideal in every way and I cannot wait to see the release of her newest pattern in January.
