I’ll never forget meeting her or just how sincere her smile was. Even at 9 or so years old, Ava was one of those girls that was just going places. She already lead in the younger kids’ classroom at church, was involved in her own age group of girls, and was also active in other areas outside those walls.
If doing cartwheels and back handsprings counts as volunteering, I’m all in. I met Ava around the same time I started volunteering in her age group at church and connected with a few of the girls right off the bat. They would stay after service, doing gymnastics with me and goofing off. As a former gymnast, this has to be one of my favorite memories.
Fast forward over the past 8 or 9 years and now Ava is one of my Class of 2022 Senior Spokesmodels, and I’m taking her *ehem* SENIOR photos. I still can’t believe how fast she grew up, and I know her mom feels the same way… parents, chime in: Why do kids do that?!
Now, Ava plans to attend NAU in the Fall with a declared nursing major in hopes of becoming a Pediatric Nurse. Obviously, if that is what she continues to want to do, she will be the perfect fit for the field! Her love, compassion, joy, and determination will carry her far, and I am here for it.
Between all of the Spokesmodel sessions with me and her individual session, it has been so rewarding having Ava on the team! She brings light and joy with her wherever she goes, and truly thrives in the skills and mindset God has given her. You can tell how talented she is just by being around her, and her heart for others is truly inspiring.
Ava chose a few looks, and I loved every time her mom caught her dress bringing out her eyes on camera because the green that she wore in her last dress was honestly made for her. Her eyes shone so bright and I’m so excited to deliver this final gallery to Ava! Ava, I hope you love your images and cherish them for years to come. It was an honor to have you as a Spokesmodel and I hope you have loved your experience and will keep it as a fond memory moving forward. You have so much to give; I can’t wait to see where life takes you!
