You could feel the anticipation looming in the air. Cannons sat on a chair in the corner stating, “he or she, what will it be?” and decorations were placed throughout the suite to match. The large moon and pink and blue balloon arch anchored the decor in the corner, and other items throughout the room completed the look.

The sweetest gender reveal was set up by Brittany’s aunt and hosted by Brittany’s aunt and mama! When I walked in and saw how much decorating Brittany’s aunt was doing to help make it special, I could see how much love she has for Brittany and how excited she is for this sweet couple! The couple, who were around 17 weeks pregnant with their first, were having a gender reveal party. Additional fun items in attendance were the mementos Brittany used to announce to husband Mike and mother Tammy that she was expecting.

Family who couldn’t join in person arranged themselves in various locations for a Zoom call. They, too, watched with eager excitement for the reveal. As Brittany and Mike set up in the corner, the room grew quiet, followed quickly by shrieks of excitement as pink confetti fell to the floor. A girl! Brittany and Mike found out surrounded by their closest family and friends that they would be welcoming a daughter into their lives.

Brittany and Mike, I’m so excited for your journey into parenthood, and cannot wait to follow along as you become a mom and dad to a sweet baby girl! As a girl mama myself, I say girls are the best!!
