The moment I saw Kayci’s hand, I almost couldn’t get the words out. She was sporting a GORGEOUS (and new!) diamond ring from her fiance, Kaleb. These two were the absolute sweetest together, with Kaleb being very supportive of Kayci giving us time during the pre-lifestyle shoot with her in an additional “bachelorette” inspired pool day shoot.

It was a day of building, content, creating, and learning put on by hosts Kendra, Mari, and Brie. I absolutely loved participating with such talented vendors, including hair and makeup artists, florists, an elegant picnic tablescape, a few other small businesses including decal shirts and glasses, and photographers.

Kayci started the day for us in a poolside shoot and moved when her fiance got there to a comfortable, relaxed lifestyle shoot. In the gorgeous Air BnB located in Scottsdale, it was hard to go wrong with the light and the openness of the kitchen. Kayci and Kaleb playfully snuggled up, got cozy, and danced throughout the kitchen. While I typically shoot outdoors with lots of open spaces and natural light, it was fun to do something a little different at this shoot. It allowed me to photograph in a new way, while creatively pushing me to do something I normally wouldn’t.

From the ripped denim jeans to the perfectly loose curls, Kayci could not have been more perfect! Kaleb came with swag and style to match, and their love was perfectly intimate on camera. I could not be more thrilled to deliver this sweet set of images to the newly engaged, adorable couple they are. Congrats, Kayci and Kaleb! I hope you love your images!
