Sometimes, the longer you’ve known a couple, the harder it is to write their blog post. Why? Because there’s just so much information you want to let the reader know, and you know you can only hold his attention for so long. This is the case with Ashlye and Warren.

I’ve had such an honor to walk through life with these two over the last year and a half or so, capturing multiple sessions and memories for them. It honors me every single time they ask me to have another session because I can see how much they value the final product.

While at their wedding, I’m not sure who was having more fun: me or them. When I say I truly love what I do, it’s more than words. It’s service, honor, duty, and fun all wrapped up with a neat little bow. Ashlye and Warren’s spring gazebo wedding could not have been sweeter. With two locations to boast, their day was chalk full of intimate, sentimental moments that brought me near tears.

First to mind was the sweetest Daddy/Daughter First Look between Warren and his two girls, followed by a touching First Look between Ashlye and Warren. I loved how much this couple incorporated their girls into their wedding day: from toasts, first looks, first dances, and including them in their bridal party, you could tell how much they love being a family.

After an intimate gathering for their ceremony, it was time to get the party started, and this couple really knew how to incorporate fun into their wedding day! At one point, I don’t think a single chair or bench was occupied while every wedding guest crowded the dance floor! Now that’s the way you celebrate with friends and family.

While every couple I have the privilege to photograph is different, I’m extremely thankful for clients turned friends. In this case, it was more of friends turned clients turned better friends, and I’m so excited to share my favorite images here with Ashlye and Warren!
