When I say this couple was one to go with the flow, you will be hard pressed to find another couple as accommodating when plans didn’t go to, well, the plan. Rachael and Junior chose an incredible Five-Star Resort in Tulum, Mexico for their International Destination wedding. However, when it was just hours from their wedding day, a medical emergency of a guest trumped their originally planned timeline, and adjustments were made to push the wedding ceremony and reception back a day.

Even so, you’d never know it with the creative and stunning gallery created for Rachael and Junior. All elements of the “wedding day” aside from the official ceremony and reception were moved to accommodate Rachael and Junior on their originally planned date. It even meant the bride and groom got to wear their wedding garb two days in a row, truly any dream for a bride!

Luckily, every other element of the day was captured and the celebration brought forth the most stunning light for their beach wedding! While the weather was humid, you would never know it looking at this stunning couple. Dressed in a traditional Samoan outfit to celebrate his heritage, Junior rocked his beachy groom attire, and Rachael looked perfect in her lacy wedding dress. Details were absolutely stunning, especially including the faux flowers brought in by the bride’s little cousin!

With dreamy beach lighting, a wonderful crew celebrating the couple all around, and some flexibility, Rachael and Junior’s wedding day was one that will never be forgotten. As my first international wedding, I’m honored to have been selected for such a momentous occasion, and cannot wait to bring in more international weddings to my experience, starting with a Scotland wedding this Fall 2024!
